Helena is an Austin native who has been immersed in the mortgage industry from an early age—literally! With her mother working as a mortgage processor since 1990, Helena’s first summer job was assisting her mom, ordering verifications of employment and answering phones.

After graduating from Bowie High School, Helena attended Texas State University. During her junior year, she took her first official step into the mortgage world as a funder. From there, her career flourished as she quickly advanced to processing, underwriting, and even originating loans. February will mark an impressive 13 years in the business (not counting her teen years in the industry!).

When she’s not ensuring smooth transactions for clients, Helena loves cooking, reading, watching football, and spending quality time with her children.
