Hermie Talamantez is a dedicated community leader, team builder, and lifelong Texan. Born in Floresville, Hermie has deep roots across the Lone Star State, having spent time in Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi before establishing her primary residence in Spring and a second home in Bulverde.

Hermie is deeply invested in the growth and well-being of her local communities. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Bulverde Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce, where she also sits on the Foundation. Additionally, she lends her time and expertise to the Board of Directors for the Bulverde Thrift Store, Winding Branch Ranch, and S.T.A.G.E. Theatre.

Professionally, Hermie is a Certified Facilitator of The 6 Types of Working Genius, bringing a unique skill set to help teams optimize their productivity, collaboration, and job satisfaction. Interestingly, her early career ambitions looked quite different: as a Chemistry Pre-Med major at UT Austin, she originally set out to become a cardiovascular surgeon.

Outside of her professional and civic duties, Hermie is an avid outdoor enthusiast and lifelong learner.
